THE ARTIST
Meet Picasso Hou
A Southern California Chinese calligraphy artist creating original work, personalized gifts, cultural experiences, and meaningful connections through the written character.
Tradition, character, and personal meaning
Picasso Hou founded Picasso’s Calligraphy Studio to make Chinese calligraphy personal and approachable. His work includes custom artworks, Chinese name interpretations, on-site demonstrations, cultural workshops, tutoring, and commissioned gifts.
Every project begins with meaning. Picasso considers the words, the occasion, the character style, and the person who will live with the finished piece—then brings them together through the movement of brush and ink.
His practice is grounded in gratitude, patience, and service. Clients of every background are welcomed with care and respect.
